Running a business in the city centre has its challenges but changing our retail image and giving our flagship store a facelift before the busy Christmas market was one of the biggest leaps of faith we’ve ever taken.
We sat down and tried to think of all of the things that might make the build difficult or even impossible, from noise and parking restrictions to the limitations of refurbishing a listed building. When we presented these worries to the DSR team we discovered they’d already thought of all these, and more and that they already knew how to handle them.
The most intense part of the project was working with their in house design team, purely because they had thought of every tiny detail which really helped in the long run and the end result is a state-of-the-art store, oozing style but losing none of its history. We’re hoping the recent revamp will serve us for the next 100 years but hopefully DSR Services will still be around for the next centenary facelift.
