Squeezing a large variety of spatial requirements and materials into a relatively small area, this project was designed to evoke the feeling of being in an small village.
"When we received the suggested name for the restaurant from our customer, these questions suddenly came to light," said the Dublin studio.
"The plan evolved to become a space which represents a memory of a tiny village for today's 'urban landscape', looking for a memory down memory lane."
Clusters of seating sit across two bases, connected by a stairs and overlooked by the glass form of the indoor seating platform.
The outdoor tables sit tucked behind low walls or plants filled with local grenery, and beside an indoor bar area which as a curved canopy shelter and an outdoor serving area.
